Anita Remig, Ed.D., is a psychologist in private practice for more than 20 years working with children, adolescents and families. Her specialty areas include: Communication Training and Family Therapy, Children and Adolescents with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Motivation Deficits, Developmental Disorders and Oppositional Defiance. Dr. Remig uses principles discussed in her book to facilitate talking and growing. She engages in psychological evaluations for cognitive learning and ADHD problems. She holds a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers University. Her clinical practice began in 1980. Along the way, Dr. Remig has given university workshops on Brain Based Learning, ADHD, Motivation Problems, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder. Currently, Dr. Remig is presenting her workshops on a national lecture tour with an educational business firm. New Hampshire has been her home for ten years, where she lives with her husband, two sons and a daughter.
