FAITH
"Faith is the sturdiest, the most manly of the virtues. It lies behind our pluckiest, blindest, most heartbreaking strivings. It is the virtue of the storm, just as happiness is the virtue of the sunshine. It is a mistake to feel that it has to do only with the future: faith in the present too has the weight of all authority behind it."
RUTH BENEDICT, An Anthropologist at Work by Margaret Mead
